BC Honda Thought Outside of the (Cereal) Box for the 2012 Civic Launch
Saturday Apr 30 2011 - Vancouver, BC - The highly anticipated release of the 2012 Honda Civic made its official BC launch in front of the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery today at 11 a.m. To celebrate the launch of Honda’s most iconic vehicle, the BC Honda Dealers have installed a 20 foot tall cereal box on the Georgia Street side of the building with a brand new 2012 Honda Civic as the “prize” spilling out of it. This unique launch taps into the idea that the ninth generation Civic is like a prize that you found inside of your cereal box as a kid and will make driving fun again. The structure will be up today and Sunday, May 1st.
Car enthusiasts and consumers who are in the market to purchase a new compact vehicle are encouraged to see this temporary structure where a street team will be offering a $300 rebate on the purchase or lease of a brand new 2012 Civic. Sales representatives from Honda dealerships throughout the Lower Mainland will also be in front of the Art Gallery to provide more additional information on the vehicle.
“A brand new 2012 Civic spilling out of a gigantic box of cereal like a kid's prize really captures the essence of what the ninth generation model is all about – making driving fun again,” said Nasir Kamrudin, Chairman, BC Honda Dealers.
